My latest obsession is Smoked Salt lip elixir from Tokyo Milk
It has an interesting and unique aroma that I can't get enough of! It's a smoke flavor but not like barbeque or anything... more like a wood smell but there's no sandal wood in it nor is it perfume-y. It's reminding me of something warm and comforting... but I can't quite place it. I also don't dare to call it a flavor, it doesn't taste like anything when you put it on. You can clearly smell it when it's in the tin but when you put it on it's not strong at all! The best part is when you first apply it and then suck in a breath of air- that's the magical part- the aroma just wakes up your senses! I also have the salted caramel elixir which is just as delightful. Not too sweet, just a bit of dark molasses-y caramel. ^____^ I highly recommend both these flavors and may even try a few others from this line; the absinthe and clove cigarette sound delightful.
on a more technical note, I have grown a liking to lip balms in pots (as opposed to sticks or rollers). You can open it, use 1 clean... sterile... Q-tip (or swab), take what you need, and close the container. Then you apply it and throw the swab away. No double dipping! You never contaminate your original stock! And you can share a tasty balm with a friend- but only if said friend has STRICT aseptic technique as yourself (wishful thinking). ;)
Whether you practice my germophobic habits or not, please give Tokyo Milk a try! Something unique and curious for your senses.
speaking of blackness, have you seen my ink? ;)
heme group from hemoglobin
Houdini the rabbit (but sometimes i like to think of him as Captain BunBuns)
I don't know if I could commit to a whole sleeve of ink but there are a few more things that I'm waiting to get tattooed. just have to find a spot for it... if you've got ink, I want to see!
