if i'm doing phlebotomy, i'm usually referred to as "lab person", "phleb", "blood person" or "vampire".
to my regular crew, i'm the interesting-socks person (see my twitter feed for example) / young-fart (i'm same age as my coworkers' kids :P ).

well, in research group, i'm the campy (campylobacter) person and the clinical [lab] person.
out of my regular posse, i'm the bicycle person- everyone else would rather drive. *shrug*
as for hypotheticals, if i had a book club, i'd be the non-fiction person. and if i had a food eating club i'd be the chopsticks only person. and if i had a vans shoes club i would be hot pink old skools person.
