the answer is yes and very yes.
i am tired about 80% of the time. i am so ready for this semester to be finished so i can catch up on sleep and sunshine. and i've been good- i've finished all my final reports, just have to print out my paper on cheese and then tidy up my lab notebook. then only studying for finals left. i think i'm effectively done for the semester.
but back to this looking tired thing.
i don't want to look tired.
after my morning lectures i decided to go to sephora to pick up my birthday freebies... with the ulterior motive of getting free makeup advice to looking more alive when i have to walk amongst the daytime people.
now, i've just washed the day (and last night, holy geez, didn't realize i've been up 24 hrs again arghhhh this has got to stop) off my face
so i will demo my swag tomorrow! but in the mean time, here are the things i picked up:
the aforementioned birthday freebies
looking forward to trying the mascara. i was i need of a new tube anyway so this was a pleasant surprise! i am excited by the brush shape- it has a rounded tip for getting all the tiny corner lashes. the highlighter... i don't know enough about makeup to know what to do with this. :/ might have to youtube some tutorials. the box says to apply to cheekbones and brow and smooth in... somehow this sounds too easy to be true. ¬___¬
stila cc cream, stila eyeliner in indigo, stila color correcting powder
the cc cream evens the skin tone a bit, hoping i will look more peppy with this. regular foundation is heavier and starts to look like a mess after a full day of work and a full day of school. i really like the scent of guerllain foundation and their bb cream has the same lovely smell!!!!!!! but i tested it at the store and it also feels heavy like the foundation. also, it was $20 more than the stila brand. as for the eyeliner... don't judge. yeah, i have a thousand eyeliners but i swear, this one is different from the others! the color... it's nice!
here's the powder color, you may be surprised!
i was actually looking for a translucent powder to go on top the cc cream (or on top of any foundation, or even just my face. work = air conditioner = dries my face = skin produce more oil = i'm gross looking and shiny after work) but this looked a little better than the translucent. something about the green and purple blending with the pink. makes a better beige!
i'll try it and let you know how it goes.
(and so it goes... )
today i exercised with le boyfriend and the motley crew.
i have discovered, i can do pull ups! three of them! *beaming with pride*
also, handstands getting a lot better.
my new yoga goal: drop backs to wheel from standing. let's do this!
*face of determination*
and then after exercising... we ate pizza and watched The Wolverine. :P
if you can't detect the sarcasm, you're misunderstood. ;)
