- What book’s pages seemed to fly by as you read them?
when i was reading the dark tower series for the first time i finished song of susannah in a few days! i was so excited to get to the finale and the whole book was action-packed adventure, i just ripped through it.
- What’s a book you were pretty sure you would dislike but turned out to be great?
for high school AP biology we had summer (before i even started the class!) assignments. one was to read one of three books, something i don't remember, darwin's origin of the species, why we get sick. i picked why we get sick. started off dry, but took an evolutionary turn and also answered a lot of immunology questions i had even though i didn't know anything about immunology at the time! it was this book followed by two autobiographies- Mary Higgins Clark and Richard P. Feynman- that converted me to a non fiction lover. as you might recall, i now read 80% non fiction, 10% stephen king, 10% other. :)
- What book’s main character would you fall in love with if you knew him or her in real life, and why?
do comic books count? i am head over heels for Richard Grayson! :D
i like john constantine too- can't help but fall for bad boys!
- Who’s the author you’ve read the most books by?
http://www.stephenking.com/index.htmli've read 23 books of his, and working on Doctor Sleep now. it's about what happened to Danny 30 years after the shining...
- What’s a really long book you enjoyed?
The stand is pretty hefty.
despite this questionaire, i read other stuff besides stephen king. i wish Michael Crichton was still writing (and living). Bill Bryson is an awesome, funny writer. i also read a lot of non fiction but they don't fit into any of these categories. some books i'm planing to read but haven't gotten to yet:
and here's a little gift from ghostly! enjoy the tunes of 2013!
