i also dreamt that i was doing this:
on the pillar of my back porch. specifically the jade split, even though i've never tried it before. strange.
what does it mean? too much physics and not enough exercise? haha.
other random things:
something i learned in school this week: did you know there is an ancient greek/roman practice of cheese divination?! you cut open a cheese and find omens in the shapes of the holes and mold. fascinating.
last night morning rounds was just starting and no one else was around in the lab. ER called for an incoming code so i went down myself to standby. the g man was like OK GUYS BUS IS ARRIVING IN FIVE MINUTES SO WE ARE GOING TO WHEEL HIM IN TO BED ONE. HAVE EKG ON THE RIGHT AND LAB ON THE LEFT. GOING TO GET TEMP, PRESSURE, PULSE, WEIGHT THEN SHIP HIM OFF TO CAT SCAN. and amazingly, that's exactly what happened! calvary rolled in, stuck him and got the blood, ekg guy came in and put the stickers on him and then off to cat scan! in and out in 20 minutes. so satisfying when things go as planned. the g man was like, "got him on the first stick? damn, they hide all the ringers up in the lab!" haha! its true, i don't get out to do phlebotomy as often as i used to. lucky for me the guy had good veins. but we won't tell the g man- better to let the nursies think all the lab people (even the techs) are rock stars. ;D
this thing came in the mail
makes any tired day more exciting. kind of song that makes you want to run around and destroy everything!
happy chinese new year,
time to dive into my ginger gau.
