i finally got my tissu hip key! (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*: ･ﾟ
(refer to last post: http://liquoriceblack.blogspot.com/2016/02/let-me-down.html)
i right now, it's not a very pretty one (picture: a slow motion robot) but it worked. and i even learned a little twirl to unwrap from it.
every week is a little bit more progress. i try to help it along with the warmups we learned in class:

this weekend is our last class of the session. then there is a two week break. and then... tissu LEVEL ONE. hellz yeah, i graduated to the first grade!
on tuesdays, if i don't have to work, i go to regular yoga with my posse. i haven't had friends to hang out with in a long time (stupid school and stuff) and i'm really enjoying it. i forgot that it's ok to be unserious in class- we giggle all the time and it's quite a relief. :)
but this week tuesday... a surprise aerial warm up from dorian!
i've been going to this studio for three years and he's never had a warm up like this before! so happy it happened on the day that i was able to go to class!
for many it was a first time experience:
I don't think I could have said it better than @mrbibingka NEVER THE SAME OLE SHIT! Get your #yogapractice out of... https://t.co/AQgSuAGRWq— Power Yoga Hawaii (@PowerYogaHawaii) March 16, 2016
(follow the link to see this guy's picture, it's awesome!!)
including one person in MY posse:
(that's lynsey on the left and bottom right. i'm on the ladder on the top right and daryl checking the length for me on the ground)
hopefully there will be enough crowd satisfaction so the studio can have an aerial workshop or maybe a regular hammock class again.
ok, other than that, i have nothing else particularly interesting to report.
i watched two really great movies,
"me, earl, and the dying girl"
(love the art in it)
(HOLY CHEEZUS THIS WAS A GREAT MOVIE, i liked the colors of the different scenes and the soundtrack [i would like to point out in ye olden days of facebook i started the first and only LE CASTLE VANIA fan group/page around 2008 or 09. it started with 5 members + myself + a friend from gaiaonline and a friend from deviantart who did the cover art for some of his music and then grew to about 1000 people and then facebook took away the fan group function for a long time. and then the actual le castle vania has an official facebook page and now he has 80000+ likes. le sigh.] and the action was ruthless and perfect. everything was good about this movie. except the boss sidekick guy ["mayhem" from the allstate commercials or the undercover guy/mariska love interest guy from law and order] was a bit annoying, doing the mickey milkovich "speak english, no one understands russian!" thing all the time. le boyfriend informs me there will be a sequel and i look forward to it).
i also finished reading how to sharpen pencils.
it's about how to sharpen pencils.
and i lost my pink, frilly eyemask so i replaced it with one that looks like a cat.
once i started sleeping with an eyemask... i can't go back! it's even better than black out curtains (not that i'd ever give that up) when you have to sleep during the daytime. there are, however, two drawbacks, 1) your eyes are puffy when you wake up 2) your hair is messy and indented from the elastic.
my solutions are 1) THIS THING: http://www.sephora.com/super-cool-de-puffing-eye-balm-P309105?skuId=1424126 and 2) leave time to blow dry and/or flat iron your hair before leaving the house.
now, everyone go freak out about the new Modern Baseball album coming out in May:
or reminisce with my ALL TIME FAVORITE MODERN BASEBALL SONG:
it's ok 'cause WHATEVER, FOREVER.
